A lesson done mostly lying on your side. You will learn to understand the dynamic relationships between your sternum and spine as well as the function of the intercostal muscles. Through practicing this lesson you will improve the flexibility of your rib cage, allowing you to have a fuller range of movement in your head, neck and shoulders. This lesson will help you understand the relationships of your head, neck and shoulders to your ribcage. For Yogis this lesson will improve the flexibility in your upper chest and back, allowing greater freedom and strength in backbends and arm balances.
